The Plant 3D Modeling Course Using S3D & E3D is designed to provide participants with comprehensive knowledge and practical expertise in the end-to-end process of plant design and 3D modeling, from concept development to detailed engineering deliverables. The program emphasizes real-world applications, industry standards, and digital workflows to prepare learners for careers in plant design, piping, and engineering across oil & gas, power, petrochemical, and process industries.

 

The program aims to:
 

• Build a strong foundation in plant design principles, covering the full project lifecycle from conceptual layout and equipment positioning to detailed 3D modeling and engineering documentation.

• Equip learners with practical skills in 3D modeling of equipment, piping systems, supports, and structural components using Smart 3D (S3D) and Everything 3D (E3D).

• Familiarize participants with industry standards and best practices (ASME, ISO, API, etc.) for plant design and piping engineering.

• Develop competency in clash detection, interference checking, and model review for effective project execution and multidisciplinary coordination.

• Train participants in generating detailed engineering deliverables such as isometric drawings, general arrangements (GA), material take-offs (MTO), and reports directly from the 3D model.

• Enable understanding of data-centric workflows and integrated engineering design systems, preparing learners for digital project environments used in modern EPC companies.

• Enhance career readiness for roles in plant design, piping engineering, and project modeling within engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) organizations.
